It didn’t matter how many times I read the name Hawk, I immediately visualised a male bad-ass character. Hawk is in fact Heather’s nickname given to her by Rebel, Molly’s daughter when she was little. It stuck and I think it’s awesome given the history, but I can’t believe the number of times I had to switch the tone of the voice in my head when Heather was referred to as Hawk LOL.Heather and Tommy’s relationship started off on shaky ground. It was convenient for them to get together because of the need to keep information only they are privy to away from not only the law, but also the club. Complicating things even further was the fact that some, assuming Heather had been his girlfriend, believed their being a couple was disrespectful to Tommy’s deceased brother Tricky but as readers we were privy to the truth and as such their being together always felt right.
The forbidden aspect fed right into my love of angst. I loved the sass Heather gave Tommy’s father, Grease, and the confidence she exuded when delivering her attitude. She needed every ounce of her strength to stand by Tommy and his short temper.
Tommy has a lot of pent up rage inside of him. The majority of the time he has it locked down tight, but when it surfaces it is consuming. Surviving the horrific carnage the club suffered is something Tommy still struggles with. He learns to deal with his demons but in doing so he does it tough.
I loved how Heather goes from being an outsider to feeling an accepted part of the club. Her wanting to maintain her individuality while not offending others was entertaining. Heather won me over with the diplomatic way she met the other old ladies half way when they took her out clothes shopping. You don’t realise how much so until she reveals all to Tommy afterwards!
Each book in this series leaves me craving more time with each character and excited to have another book to dive straight into. The epilogue in this book left me wanting more time with Heather and Tommy being together. Fortunately the series is all about family time, so I will be bound to get time with them in future books.
I am so grateful for the challenge read I took on this year that has spurred me on to get back into the Aces’ Sons series. Having multiple series on the go at the same time makes keeping up with each new release a juggling act at times. The upside is that I have been able to read two books in a row from this series that I have thoroughly enjoyed! Now I’m about to dive straight into the next book, Craving Lily

Craving Hawk The Aces' Sons edition by Nicole Jacquelyn Contemporary Romance eBooks Reviews
Craving Hawk has it all. Drama, romance, and mc grit that only the Aces' Sons can give. I have read all this series and it keeps getting better. The Aces MC has always been a favorite of mine but the next generation makes it even better. I love that some of the original members are still active in the storyline. Great read and I can't wait for the next one.
I absolutely love this series of books. I enjoy catching up with other characters and seeing the children grow up and find their own way. Not for the faint of heart as it's a real MC book but such a great read.
this whole series is by far one of my favorite, once i started reading it i could not put it down. i have read it over and over and i recommend it all the time, trust me it is a must read and i promise you will love it. i hope the series continues with Leo's story. i cant not wait. thank you nicole for such an amazing and beautiful series..💖
I love about this series because we see how flawed these characters are. If you've been reading The Aces MC and now The Aces' Sons series you know exactly WHY these characters are so flawed. Tommy has had a hard life in a very short time period. The history he shares with Heather is sad and their relationship is very rocky at times. The last three books have hit me hard in the feels and I think this book exhibits what develops after so much tragedy and heartbreak.
I also enjoyed Heather's character in the past book so it was great to see her own story develop.
So loving Ace' s Sons. Tommy and Hawk are great. Tommy is full of rage, yet vulnerable. It is understandable though. And with the new revelation revealed in this book it makes perfect sense. Tommy is Asa/ Grease' s son. And in Grease' s book I loved him but in this book he was kinda a pr---. I was starting to dislike him. But Asa redeems himself. Heather/Hawk is fiesty and strong. I loved her.
Their story is slightly more mellow than the other Son's stories but drama is high. My only complaint is the story felt incomplete to me. More than that I won't say. But that is the reason for four stars rather than five. But still a really a good book.
I have enjoyed this series from the beginning and getting Tommy's story is one I was looking forward to.
Tommy is Mick's brother, who we know all died in the massacre of his family. Tommy feels guilty because Mick died trying to save him. While on lockdown, Heather is there with his family and everyone thought she was Mick's girlfriend. She has quite a time convincing them otherwise, too.
Except for Tommy. He knows secrets that could destroy his family and knows that Heather is someone he wants in his life. Tommy and Heather were hot, sexy, and perfect together!
I enjoyed getting more of the entire MC and this book stayed on my mind after I finished because I was left with a WTH did I just read feeling and that's what I love about Nicole's books. I need more of this series ASAP!
A awesome read …… that you will need a couple of tissues towards the end... Heather is her own unique women strong, mouthy, tough with a marshmallow centre she wants what every girl wants really just in her unique way... Tommy understandably has issues , he just doesn't realise how mush he needs help with it & by keeping it in , it's doin his head in .. on a lock down in walks Mel's little sister & Mikey's by growing up.. he's always wanted her... but he's a self proclaimed arse.. but things change when they've been on lockdown for a bit.. The story continues with a bit more depth.... it's about finding someone amongst the stress... with a secret just the two of them know....it's not an easy road & other Sh!t is going down as well... for me personally I would of like an Epilogue just to finalise a few things... you don't know might be in the next book. Love this series that Nicole Jacquelyn writes. Happy Reading People..
